It's not really worth walking along the dike around the Rantum Basin. It's just a gravel path and lots of cyclists. The dike on the western shore of the basin, on the other hand, is a nice walk, with forest as a windbreak and grass underfoot until you reach Remondis, where the seagulls and swallows swim
