Very nice, quiet route, first it's 2km uphill through a sparsely populated area, then it's flat along the Levada do Castelejo to the old bridge. The way back is a bit more undulating on the way to Sao Roque do Faial. Overall, a very easy path to walk, with safety equipment everywhere at critical points
