After several months of construction, the trip from the welding bridge to Kirchberg and thus from the Ludwigsburg district to the Rems-Murr district is for cyclists
much more attractive and a gap in the Murrtal cycle path was closed.

At the start time at 11 o'clock the rain had just largely stopped. The group trip went from the meeting point in Löchgau through Zabergäu to Sternenfels, where the EKS was. The way back led through the Mettertal to Sachsenheim and then with a swing to the end of the tour in the Hofcafé at the Weißenhof.
Martin took pictures 1-6, 9 and 10.

A tour that we ride once a year in variants. Today, however, with only two highlight pictures: View of Stuttgart from Monte Scherbelino (Birkenkopf) and the Nippenburg. Enthusiastic fellow cyclists were Josef, Eberhard, Martin, Manfred, Gertrud and Rolf.
Travel by S-Bahn from Bietigheim to the university, and then tend to only go downhill!
The pictures are taken by Josef.

The round tour leads counterclockwise in a wide arc through the region with the lunch break in Neckarwestheim. Manfred, Werner M., Werner L., Josef and Martin were enthusiastic and surprised by some of the paths that the group had used for the first time. The correct driving time was 4:10 h and the average speed. was 18.9 km / h.

Today, like every year, I took my fellow cyclists Rolf, Siggi, Werner M., Eberhard, Martin, Josef and Manfred to the Max-Eyth-See. In order not to use the Neckar Valley Cycle Path from Besigheim, it first went via Monrepos and Favorite to the Neckar in Ludwigsburg. For the first time, the return tour led past the Vöhingen desert, which was abandoned by the inhabitants in the 14th century - a place steeped in history in the Lange Feld.

From the meeting point in Bietigheim, we took the train to Weil der Stadt, where the tour began. Since there was a storm that day, the first step was to drive against the wind, which was more than clearly felt on the plateau behind Simmonzheim. In Nagoldtal the wind was moderate and from Pforzheim a strong pushing tail wind. EKS was in Pforzheim in the Enzauenpark. My fellow cyclists Manfred, Gertrud, Werner M., Martin, Rolf and Werner L. enjoyed the tour with me. The Nagoldtal is worth a tour in every season.
