I really dig the poorly paved road around Coyote Hills, I recommend getting some dirt riding in while you're there too. The Union City trail is pretty mediocre, and a lot of it is closed.

Nice weather. Should not ride this tour in this direction. It would be better to do it backwards. Buuut I would not recommend it at all unless you are on a mountain bike as the trails are gnarly rough and get VERY steep. I had to walk alot of uphill sections that were too steep to get traction on.

Gorgeous weather, not many people, and a bunch of cool birds spotted. A great ride today, a little less than half on gravel/dirt. I ride on 28c tires, so I can't go too crazy off-road.

Missed the first few miles of this ride, should be around 43 mi total and 3.5 hours of riding. My legs are beat!
