We did the trip with four adults and four children, two of them carried in a touring baby-backpack. It is doable, but there are some steep sections, which can be quite challenging. There are sections of the trail uphill, which are covered by loose rocks or fallen trees, that need to be crossed, bushes to be ducked, etc.
