Today we first said goodbye to our fellow cyclist Tibor, who had a different direction from Wasserburg. We also had breakfast earlier to take advantage of the "morning freshness". Fresh is usually different, but what can you do 🥴😅. Our route led us further north and also through the really very beautiful

It was a wonderful start to the day, cycling completely relaxed through Salzburg along the cycle path by the Salzach river, starting from our accommodation. It was really great. In Rott, we then unspectacularly returned to Germany. As always, there were plenty of ups and downs and beautiful places that

Today our tour was much more relaxed than the last few days, good so. There were wonderful descents and not so wild ascents, but it's quite hot again. But now there's still a little time for Salzburg🥰

Like every other day of the tour, today was also very "interesting" and somehow crazy. It was a good decision to have a good breakfast in Rennweg. Nevertheless, it wasn't enough for me to pedal up Katschberg. I estimate I managed about a third, the rest I pushed🙈, and even that was totally exhausting

A crazy day🥴. This morning we had breakfast at the bakery. While we were drinking coffee, the locals already had a big beer in front of them🫣. Then we continued on the Alpen Adria Cycle Path towards Villach, then Spital... always nicely along the Drau river. Later, we continued with quite steep climbs

Today was also a rather hot day, but we managed our stage well. We rode most of the way on the Alpen Adria cycle path, which was very busy, though fortunately in the opposite direction. Interesting were the many tunnels we cycled through. It is really cold in the mountains, and a tunnel that is almost

Having a day off yesterday was really good, because today it was very hot for almost 100 km. Riding through Trieste really requires concentration, but thanks to Jörg's navigation, it went well. Then we still had the beautiful view of the Mediterranean Sea for a while, until we went further inland towards

We started the day with a meager breakfast. Not quite ideal when it immediately goes steeply uphill. But we are tough, and I had to tell myself that now and then today 😅. After about 3 km we crossed the border into Slovenia. There we ended up on a rather extreme gravel track along a reservoir. Good

Today is our last day in Croatia. It was super nice here🥰. It was advantageous to have a proper breakfast early today, because we had to overcome quite a few meters of altitude. However, I have now gotten very used to it. The biggest challenge for me today was crossing this large bridge from Krk back

Today we did a bit of island hopping again. We went from Stinica by ferry to Rab, for which we got up at 6 am today 🫣. Then across the island, always nicely up and down, to Lopar, back on the ferry to Krk and from there to our destination on Krk, namely Omišalj. Here we had a colorful mix of road and

A paradisiacal beautiful route.....for motorcyclists, but of course also for cyclists. Such beautiful views, not too much traffic, great climbing sections, hardly any wind, super descents, good temperature, what more could you want 🥰🚴♀️💪?
The pictures already look almost unreal, but it's simply that

Today's stage took us from Pirovac to Tribanj. Right from the start this morning, we had strong winds, sometimes from the front, sometimes from the side, later again from the front, from the front and from the front 🙄😅. But of course, we still managed it well 💪🚴♀️. In between, there were some altitude

Today our route took us further inland. There was a lot of climbing and great descents again, and also some gravel sections. A nice mix of everything. From the afternoon onwards it was overcast, which was quite pleasant at first. On the other hand, there was a lot of headwind. Every cyclist knows how

Staying overnight in Gornji Humac was extremely nice. And the breakfast there was simply super. Then we set off, we drove to Supetar and from there first by ferry to Split. The view of Split from the sea side did not really impress us, so we actually only had a coffee there and struggled our way out

It's already really hot 🥴, so we had an early breakfast and had pretty good temperatures for a while. In Regensburg, we took some time for the very beautiful city center. It was definitely worth it. Afterwards, we continued to Regenstauf, where we finished today's stage.
