These trails on the Southside of the James River are fairly flat. The north side of the river, the trails get quite a bit more rugged and strenuous. Trails are frequented hikers, walkers, runners, bikers, and leashed pets. During the summer months, the river is populated by many for sunbathing, swimming, tubing and kayaking.
