Burana Tower is all that’s left of the city of Balasagun, (Karakhanid Empire) in the 9th century. The tower can be climb by a thight and partly dark staircase - well worth it. Additionally you can find stone tombs, a small museum and a so to be yurt.

Sunken Lake - provoked by an earthquake the river has changed its way and build up this lake. Sunken trees in it - preserved by the pretty cold turqoise blue water. Beautiful scenery.
