From Florence, cycle paths to the Cascine where you continue towards the renai park, always on a cycle / pedestrian path. Arrived at the park entrance, cross Signa and reach Poggio alla Malva on roads with very low traffic, here you continue through the vineyards on a dirt road to the Nave di Camaioni where you return to asphalt for a few hundred meters to take the cycle path which will lead us to Montelupo and then continue along the Pesa. In this variant of the tour, shortly after San Vincenzo a Torri you leave the cycle path to climb, initially on a dirt road, up to Pian de Cerri where you turn off into the woods to descend towards Tavarnuzze. Here begins the busiest stretch up to Galluzzo where again secondary roads and dirt roads are taken to return.

Ride on well-known roads of the Florentine hills. Unfortunately, the stretch that from Chioccio would have brought me to Ferrone on a dirt road has a passage in the woods that I knew could be very muddy. In this winter period, however, it is impossible to pass even on foot without sinking into the mud, so I had to go back.

Ride on known roads around the house, I explored a variant from Chiocchio al Ferrone on a dirt road that runs alongside some vineyards of Chianti Classico and then plunged into the woods in a very muddy stretch and with enormous pools that forced me to a little portage. But very little. The colors of autumn and today's light were magnificent.
