Mainly off-road using route 6 then canal. Minor roads over motorway then route 55 loopline. Refreshments at Clifton Country Park or Horseshoe inn, Ringley.

Mainly off-road route using leisure trails and canals. Refreshments at Horseshoe pub Ringley. Walkden town centre just off the route which has more choice.

Lancaster to Blackpool (linear).
An easy to follow route following country lanes. There is a small toll over the river (20p). A few cafes en-route (I took a picnic which I ate outside Pilling Village Hall. Lots of friendly cyclists around.

Nob End Route - Prestolee Road
A varied route which is usually quiet because not many people know about it. Ringley is a lovely village which is worth a visit in its own right.

Very easy to follow trail, lots of coffee stop options. Highly recommended!
