Between Systems And Trees

I don’t fit into this world. Not because I’m broken,
but because this world is.
The noise, the speed, the constant pressure to perform,
to be social and to keep up is not natural.
And I refuse to keep forcing myself into something that makes me sick.
Give me trees, birds, silence and a dog choosing his own path,
and my body finally remembers what calm feels like.
I don’t walk for sport. I walk because without it, everything collapses.
Because my mind fills up, my body shuts down
and the world expects me to just “push through.”
I won’t.
With Mart and Fannar, I’m trying to build a life outside of that system.
Simpler. Slower. Closer to something real.
Not perfect. Not easy. But honest.
And honestly, that’s already more than most of this world offers.
