Route 17 from Ed Shoote's fantastic book. This is really is a fantastic gravel ride, and well worth the 2km unrideable hike down from Lochnager.

Overall an excellent series of out and backs around the Mar Lodge Estate. I do think the Linn of Quoich route would be more enjoyable on a hardtail mtb than a gravel bike. Glen Lui and out to Derry Lodge were smooth and fast.

A fantastic morning mountain biking in Ballater, starting off with Mastermind as a warm up to the claasic Heartbreak Ridge.

Lovely route for either a gravel or short travel mountain bike. I prefer the mountain bike to enjoy the flow on the descents and take some chatter out on the rougher sections. Manageable on a gravel bike and would up the pace of the road section.

Great second day of Comrie Croft Journeys "Introduction to bikepacking" - started the day with coffee and blue skies in Glen Lednock before heading up the Glen and over to the Rob Roy Way. Beautiful views of the Ben Lawyers range and Loch Tay. Return on the Glen Ogle Railway Path and south Loch Earn

First day on Comrie Croft Journeys Introduction to Bikepacking course. Spent a morning with the fantastic Emily teaching us all the key points of bikepacking from route planning, food, clothing and of course loading the bikes. Amazing to learn from someone with years of experience and finding out what
