The first and last sections are just on-road, although picturesque, and it's the middle, off-road section that's worthy of note.
From just south of Ellistown in a clockwise loop to New Lount nature reserve there are some brilliant off-road/gravel sections and great views. Just ignore the tedious section traversing Ashby!
Like
