Very scenic and varied round. The starting point was the duck stable in Alme. We largely followed the "Al3" mark and turned to "Q" shortly before the Almequelle. After we have left the last houses of the village behind us with a decent slope, the path turns left and pulls down through wide meadows and fields into the valley of the disused Almetalbahn. There the route becomes wooded and rocks appear again and again on the left and right. The karst springs of the alpine pastures are spectacular. The course of the river leads back to the starting point with many different arms and crystal-clear water. We saw numerous brown trout and Mühlkoppen.

Today a tour without photos. The beautiful impressions will hopefully get stuck in the brain. We mostly followed the route of the Römer Lippe Route. The return trip from Hamm to Lippstadt was by train.

Short lunch break with my six year old daughter. Lush green in the Beketal and great views on the way to the small viaduct. Unfortunately, part of the planned route was closed due to forestry work.

I haven't gone this lap for a couple of years. It is amazing how much climate change has changed the character of the landscape. There are very few spruces that are reasonably intact. Most have fallen victim to the drought and the bark beetle. Where the paths were otherwise shady and a bit dark, there are only tree corpses today or they have already been cleared over a large area. Otherwise, the path is still very nice - especially the high path above the Externsteine over the Knickenhagen. The second part of the loop towards the silver mill begins with the somewhat steeper ascent on Knieberg via Hermannsweg / Eggeweg. The silver mill has now opened again, but it is mandatory to wear a mask. The way back is much flatter on a quieter path through beautiful beech halls.

Very nice round, starting at the mission house in Neuenbeken. First out of the village through mixed forest, parallel to a road with little traffic. Great panorama on the Papenberg. Then you dive back into the forest, which is interrupted from time to time by clearings. At Hindahls Kreuz we turn sharply right and follow a commercial road for a short time. After a few hundred meters we turn right into the beech forest, through which a quiet path leads us steadily downhill. Again and again we see the karst rock in great formations on the roadside. Now unfortunately you can clearly hear the traffic on the country road to Altenbeken and the railway line. The latter also gives us a beautiful view of the small viaduct. Passing an open quarry, we come to the lush green floodplain of the Beke, which we turn to the right. At the sandstone of the Elvere we turn left, cross the main road and soon reach our starting point.

A nice round from the hiking parking lot at Roters Eiche. First on the Eggeweg, which runs parallel to the paved road. After passing the somewhat enchanted Haus Mittelwald, we turn left towards Schwarzbach. We go through bizarre and ghostly clear cuts of dried spruce stands that have been devastated by the bark beetle. The path will soon become woody and beautiful again. At the bottom left of the valley we see the Schwarzbach flashing again and again, which is crossed by lush green aquatic plants in many places. We soon turn left onto a small path that leads down to the alder bridge. Here the bench and table invite you to rest. After crossing the bridge, after a short climb we turn left again into the Schwarzbach valley. Now we are walking closer to the stream and can admire the unique floodplain with a very nice mixture of alder, ash and birch. To the right of the path are large anthills. Soon we will come to a small forest lake where the Schwarzbach was dammed up and turn left there. Soon we will meet the Eggeweg at the Mittelwaldhütte again, which will lead us back to the parking lot on the familiar path.
