3-Gipfel Haberstein-Schneeberg-Nußhardt
Wer im Fichtelgebirge Gipfel aus luftiger Höhe betrachten möchte, der sollte auf den Schneeberg, Franken's höchster Berg - wandern. Auf seinem Gipfel thront ein skurriler weißer Turm aus Zeiten des Kalten Krieges. Das ehemalige militärische Sperrgebiet ist inzwischen wieder für die Öffentlichkeit zugänglich und mit Picknickplätzen bestückt. Unser gut 10 km langer Rundweg startet am Parkplatz Seehaus und führt über die Blockhalden vom Haberstein mit einer ersten schönen Aussicht Richtung Bischofsgrün. Vorbei am 1.000m-Stein zum legendären Backöfele am Schneeberg mit heute guter Rundumsicht und weiter zum wildromantischen Nußhardtgipfel, der einen tollen Blick zurück zum Schneebergturm bietet – und das alles mit sehr wenig Höhenmetern – perfekt. Bissel trittsicher sollte man vor allem im Winter trotzdem sein. Eisige Felsen an Haberstein und Nußhardt und der Weg vom Schneeberg bis Nußhardt und im weiteren Verlauf bis zum Seehaus war heute recht eisig. Meine "Winterreifen" für die Schuhe waren durchaus hilfreich. Schöne Fichtelgebirgsrunde bei perfektem Wetter mit Einkehrschwung am Seehaus.
