This is my 1st major hike after my femoral neck fracture three months ago. I am very happy that it can now be done again. Previously only done shorter tours for training.
Some of the paths are just beaten tracks, but mostly still clearly visible. Most of the tour went through beautiful deciduous forests

With the S6 from Pforzheim Hbf to Birkenfeld, so as not to have to walk through the city forever. Then overnight in the Hotel Maxis Im Stöckmädle, Karlsbad. From here it goes on to Ettlingen the next day.
