After a good sleep and Breakfast (the view from the dining room is super impressive on the nearby mountains and lake), we started our descent to Munster. The mix of road + mountain paths + cycling roads is perfect (with limited technical sections) to have sufficient variety and fun!
We decided to climb

The day started with a demanding hike and bike section (hiking #1) to avoid the construction work section, as kindly suggested by our host. Fortunately it's short! We then moved back to the road, which is not really crowded and very pleasant to ride. Some gravel sections are even regularly available

Departure from Sarentino with a very pleasant road towards Pens/Pennes Pass, with beautiful surroundings, small superb road/cycling roads with very limited vehicles until we really start the ascent on the main State road which is not that crowded. Long demanding climb (especially the last bits) but with

We started early towards Merano for a brief tour of the town (really cute), we headed to our first looooong climb (21km) to Kreuzjoch (or Giogo della Croce, 2084) with good alternance of not too busy roads, off-road and path ways... and huge inclination :)
A few minutes after St Kathrein, we took a path

This was a hard day, considering the heavy rain on most of the climbing of the JauffenPass (2094m), and the 18.9k to reach the summit. It started with a nice downhill, followed by the climbing (70% on road, the rest on path/hiking tracks). Very amusing and with great views and companions (the cows are

We started with an easy (beautiful) cycle path on the left side of the river toward the nearby town. Followed with the 1st strong climb of the day, in a mix of small road followed by unpaved paths in the mountain and surrounded by trees. The temperatures were much lower than in the past 2 days (around

Progressive start, followed with a long climb up in direction to Italy via the Brenner pass(arrival in Brenner).
After a quick descending on cycle path, the path on the right (mix of gravel / stones) is our 2nd long climb with superb views. A front light is recommended while passing the few tunnels at

The way to Innsbruck is very easy, things get more interesting just out of Innsbruck with a long climbing road. Then it's a succession of climbs and descents.
Note: the last climb (VR from Muhlen) is not doable with a gravel, we had to hike with the bike and... it was not easy (19% sections) 😀

Last and final day trip with an easy and flat route back to Innsbruck. The "radwegs" are very impressive throughout the zone and the scenery nice too! Schwaz and Hall in Tirol were very interesting towns to visit with such a beautiful weather.
In the end, 9 full days of cycling, a great experience overall
