This will teach me to check Komoot routes more carefully before I follow them. The route title is definitely misleading. The first part of the ride is on very busy A and B roads and takes you through Stroud town centre. You only get to the quiet country lanes after climbing the A419 out of Stroud. To

This is a fantastic ride, taking in some lovely sights. Highlights include Alfred's Tower, Stourhead (National Trust) and cycling through Longleat. Only caveat is that the route immediately after Alfred's Tower isn't suitable for road bikes. It's better to stay on the road and follow directions to Stourton

A great circular route around Ross on Wye. However, the route takes a wrong turn up a steep hill just before Hoarwithy. Ignore this and carry on through Hoarwithy.

What a fabulous ride through beautiful French countryside. I can definitely recommend this with a coffee stop in Saint-Cyprian.
