Crystal Lake Road Bike
A great route with over 75% on dedicated bicycle paths. No serious climbs. Done on a tandem with a teenage stoker being not too eager to pedal, thus slow. Seen quite a bit of wild life (cf the photos of cranes with chicks).

Slopes of Volcano Malinche Hike
A relatively easy hike up and down the slopes of Malinche, starting and finishing at San Miguel Canoa, about an hour by bus from Puebla City.

Hike through Humboldt Redwoods State Park, well-maintained paths, magnificent trees, clean creeks. Both start and end points accessible by bus from Eureka CA.
