Michael

Road cyclist who now spends most of his time gravel riding. Since moving to the New Forest in 2018, I discovered the 100 miles (plus) of trails and tracks round here are just too good to miss. The roads are quiet and there are plenty of great (destination) stop-off points to schedule in a well earned coffee or lunch. The coast is also easy to add into most rides.

I ride a lefty...the Cannondale Slate and love how the fork takes out ‘gravel judder’ on the forest tracks.

Watch out for cows, (and pigs in the autumn) in the forest. They get protective of
their young. Free range horses and donkeys are more of an obstacle than a hazard.

Say hello if you come across me while out riding. Tag along for a few miles if you like. (My Live location is always turned on in Wahoo)
