After Rusty provided the eaves dancer group in Komoot, that spontaneously inspired me to create a variation. It was a varied lap with a few meters of altitude and a few more kilometers.
Starting at the Brunnental, I went over the Hossinger ladder to the refuge. The detour to the "Oberer Berg" leads to a dead end street that you have to go back afterwards, mostly on the same path (to the refuge), but there is a beautiful stretch of paths, paths and meadows as well as a lonely bench with a beautiful view. Back at the refuge, I entered the Hochalb path, which I took in a modified form. These are really always very beautiful paths and in many places there are wonderful views. From the Gräbelesberg I took the direct route to the Brunntal. After a fairly steep descent, however, it is a wide gravel path and not very interesting for long stretches. It would probably have been nicer to go back over the Hossinger ladder.

The tour was already a few days ago, but I have only now managed to insert the pictures in the correct geo-position (that is probably not possible on the mobile phone, but only on the PC).
On this tour I completely circled Hohenzollern Castle. After a first slight ascent, it is moderate, mostly on wide hiking and forest trails to the Mariazell chapel. A crisp ascent to the Zellerhorn follows. Then it goes relaxed along the Albtrauf to the descent on the Himberg. As a little detour, I went up to the Hohenjungingen ruins. Apart from the moat, a memorial plaque and a bank, there is not much to see there. The way back then led me over wide paths, overgrown forest paths and a good piece of side road back to the starting point. Overall, I found that it was a very varied circuit with beautiful views.

Today I was again in my home area. There are plenty of opportunities to hike around the beautiful Eyachtal. This is just one of them, albeit a bit broad 😊.
There were not so many pictures today because both Komoot and my Garmin watch had failed me several times 🙄

A varied route with beautiful views and crisp climbs. You could add a "detour" or two, but today my focus was more on the technical side. It was my first time using a GPS watch today, but I only got the wrong turn twice, then I got used to it. So don't just take the tour unchecked 😉
Importing to Komoot takes some getting used to, especially with the images.
