Got the 48 bus from Plymouth to Wembury ( check times, not Sunday’s) about 35 minutes ride.
It’s a wonderful walk well signed following the coastline along cliff paths.
Absolutely stunning views every step of the way. There are a few uphill climbs and some steep steps here and there so good footwear

A steady stroll all on pavements or tarmac along the sea front of Plymouth as far as the Royal William Yard and Devils Point.
Passing Smeatons Tower, The Citadel, Stonehouse Barracks, Royal William Yard and Devils Point.
Back to the town centre for lunch.

Please note this trek is nearer 7 miles because I forgot to set the tracker running like an idiot. I really enjoy this walk because it has spectacular views over Plymouth, the Sound and Cornwall. There are some quite challenging uphill and steep step sections but it’s well worth the effort. Some good
