Well today the mountain lived up to its name, there was a carpet of red myrtille leaves everywhere we went it was stunning. This ride takes you from the valley floor up to 2200m on nice quiet roads and forest tracks with a little push/hike-a-bike at the end. As you peer over the summit you'll wonder if there is even a trail below it's a crazy but stunning view back to the valley floor far far below. The descent however is

After sensibly waiting for a storm to pass it was a glorious afternoon for a trip up the Cormet de Roselend. Loose steep and veey difficult. The dedcent is not for everyone but if you have the skills and enjoy a challenge this roue doesn't disappoint
