This hike was based on a classic coast to coast walk in Lanzarote from Costa Teguise to Famara - however the beginning of the walk has been messed up (I assume by recent flooding). We got as far as Teguise with a slight diversion to see the Santa Barbara Castle - then a taxi back, although there was an hourly bus service

We took a taxi to the top of the trail saving 6k and 950m elevation, the first half of the trail was very well maintained, the second half required route finding and stream hopping which was fun.

Steep descent on LP 12.2 and a steep ascent on LP 12.2, I think the route would be better in reverse to benefit from some shade on the way back up. I used the road at the top to get back to the car, there was a GR 130 route that looked more interesting but would have taken longer.
