The first ascent and last descent through Menaggio and Lenovo are a bit tiresome in the heat, but Val Sanagra itself is gorgeous and the tracks at Sass Corbee may be a bit scrambly, but they’re also beautiful and quite fun. I may have missed a turn at one point…

Well sign-posted, not too strenuous (although every meter of elevation gain is strenuous in 30 degrees heat), and pleasant walk

Lago Di Piano
Easily reached from Menaggio with the C112 bus, this was a pleasant hike through diverse scenery. And cooling off in the lake afterwards is a great way to end it.

Strada AnticaRegina
From Menaggio to Rezzonico along a historic road with some good views across the lake - but also some quite ugly bits in the first half of the hike before reaching the historic track, and more steep sections than I was fully prepared for

Dutch Mountain Trail 4
For 99% the easiest of the four stages, but the gpx included a scrambly off-grid section when ascending the Observant that I would highly recommend avoiding
