About Mark
In 2019, I completed a new way to do LEJOG relying on long distance cycleways in the West Country, Wales, Ireland, Ulster and Scotland. The "Trans Celtic Cycleway" begins at Lands End and follows the Sustrans route to Bristol. It then cuts across Wales to Anglesea on the Lon las Cymru. A ferry crossing to Dublin and then westwards across Ireland to Galway where it turns north to Sligo and then along the coast to Ballycastle in Northern Ireland. A ferry to Campbeltown in Scotland, then to Oban. Another ferry to the Outer Hebrides and then back to the mainland at Ullapool. Finally arriving at John'O'Groats via Tongue.

My entire route is available as a whole or as segments on Komoot.

For 2020, I have planned a more modest "Tour de Norfolk". It begins and ends at the two Norwich Cathedrals and leaving south-west from Norwich, then north along the Peddars Way Cycle Trail and west along the North Norfolk Coast Cycle Trail. After arching south through Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft, the route returns east through Beccles and then along the River Yare back to Norwich.

The route is available on Komoot, I'll add highlights once it's completed.
