Very nice walk from Piscu Negru (parking) to the exit of the Tranfagaran tunnel (south side) from there hitchhiking (20min.) To the exit point. Overall, we were just under 8 hours at a comfortable pace with several breaks on the way.
To find a ride was fast.

Nice mountain bike ride though a lovely landscape and tea plantations. Nearby Elkuwada has an small restaurant but you'll find also small other stalls on the way and on the lake itself.
