Traumhafte Panorama-RadTour Weininsel Volkach mit allen Sehenswürdigkeiten
Wie schafft man es die schönsten Highlights der Weininsel mit Volkach und der Volkacher Mainschleife in einer Panorama-Rad- & Mountainbike-Tour zu verbinden? Als "Local" habe ich genau diese Aufgabe für Radler und Mountainbiker (und Wanderer) in dieser Tour zusammengestellt. Die Tour startet am DIVINO, der Vinothek mitten in Nordheim, kann aber auch an allen anderen Stellen der Rundtour gestartet werden, so zB an den Campingplätzen oder Wohnmobilstellplätzen, Wanderparkplätzen in Volkach oder Sommerach. Es geht hierfür ein ein wenig hoch und runter, hierbei kommen wir an allen Highlights und Panorama-Views vorbei und bleiben stets auf Radwegen bzw. wo notwendig auf wenig aber gut befahrbaren landwirtschaftlichen Wegen. Bei Münsterschwarzach fehlt 2025 noch eine kleine Radbrücke über die Schwarzach, so dass es einem kleinen Umweg bedarf. Wer die Strecke ab 2026 fährt, sollte dieses Problem nicht mehr haben da eine neue Holzbrücke den Mainradweg dann wieder miteinander verbinden soll. Auf der Weininsel und in Volkach geht es bewusst durch die sehr schönen Orte, so dass viele schöne Zwischenstopps bei einem Winzer oder einer Gaststube möglich sind. Mit 400 Höhenmeter auf der Tour darf auch ein Mountainbiker sich ein wenig wohler fühlen :) Die Höhenmeter zeigen aber auch, das sehr schöne Panoramaaussichten auf der Tour liegen! Also bestens geeignet für tolle Fotos! Viel Spass auf dieser tollen Radtour, welche mit normalen Fahrrad, eBike oder Mountainbike gut zu bewältigen ist. Wanderung? Auch als Tages-Tour zu Fuss gut machbar. Wer zeitlich abkürzen" möchte, der kann in Volkach und in den Weininsel-Orten Sommerach und Nordheim stündlich den Bus (Linie 310, im Sommer zusätzlich auch die Freizeitlinie 105) in die ein- oder andere Richtung nehmen Viel Spaß!
