This route allows you to see the best of Ottawa: museums and galleries, monuments and rivers, lookout points and bridges, cafés and neighbourhoods. A packed and very enjoyable route for those who want to get the max out of an urban bike day in Ottawa and Gatineau.

This 66 km loop gets you to three beaches in two provinces as well as Gatineau Park. It is nearly all paved and nearly all on cycleways (multi use pathways) basically except intersections and a bridge (with a lane separated by a concrete barrier). Be courteous to slower cyclists and pedestrians and indicate

This is the version that goes clockwise. Someone suggested to walk the steeper part first, which I think is a good idea. It also cuts out the descent and then the ascent from the Rio Pomba Valley for those who want to stay up in the mountains.
