Cycling the Camino Postuguese Coastal with a 10 year old on an MTB and a 12 year old with a cyclocross bike. Slow ride, lots of stops to negotiate shared roads with the kids while getting out of Porto.

Most of the farm Roads are clay surface with no gravel. They will likely be impossible to ride on after a decent shower. Even when dry they have a very uneven surface that is unsuitable for tires narrower than 32mm.

Water refill and washrooms at Betula Lake campground, Whitemouth and Brereton Lake Campground. The Spicy Radish Cafe at Whitemouth is a really nice place to get fueled up. Good choice of food, tasty, friendly service. Check goes off operation and closures before setting out. Bear bells recommended on

Quiet route hugging the Red River in Winnipeg. Glenwood Crescent off Hespeler is one way. But saw some cyclists going the opposite way.
South of Redwood Bridge thro Michelle Jean Park is likely to be Prairie Gumbo after a rain. Beware.

This ride takes you thro some really pretty sights in Victoria BC. You also get to see neighbourhoods that I never can afford to even dream of (never mind) living in. There are some wicked climbs especially near Phyllis park.
