About Nicole Rose

Ich fühle mich also ganz zuhause!
Also, komm mit mir wandern!

If you don't want to go over hill and dale, this hike along the very little-traveled, narrow serpentine road is just the thing. There and back it goes the same way. In Galilea you should stroll up high in the village, marvel at the pretty fincas and enjoy a picnic with a view of the church. There are places to stop for a break in both Galilea and Es Capella. My tip in Es Capella: The Bar Nou. This is where home cooking and what is probably the largest sole on the island come to the table.

The southern section of the west coast road is less traveled but just as spectacular. With the e-bike you can also take the two small bays of Estellencs and Banyalbufar with you very comfortably (otherwise quite steep detours).

A beautiful hike with a fantastic view of the Thuringian Forest in summer and winter. We were traveling very slowly, the lap can be done much faster. The starting point is the hiking car park at the upper basin. From there you walk around the pool. A detour to the upper lookout point is highly recommended when the weather is clear. For orientation: Follow the signs for the cycle path to Katzhütte until you turn left almost at the end of the reservoir in front of a gate and come to a broad, lower forest path. On the left it goes to Katzhütte and to the Wurzelberg (nice detour), on the right it goes back. The last part you walk next to the road.
