Very worthwhile tour. From the parking lot (toll road 60NOK / car) steadily uphill mostly over beautifully stable laid wooden slats. After 8km left over the mountain shoulder of the summit upswing. Wonderfully quiet surroundings with good views. We started the tour (22km round trip) at 13:00 and left without hurry at 20:00.

Recommended detour if you want to represent your feet while driving. The parking lot is easily accessible from the main road. Especially worthwhile is the short pass road in front of it. Beware one way street! Access from above i.e. coming from Stalheim!
