The north part is no e for the first half. Second half gets more of the same. Plus there is a bad smell from all the sea lions. South part (return) is nicer in my opinion, also a bit winder and therefore cooler. No shade, so don't forget sunscreen, a hat and water.

Nice hike with different types of paths. Paths on the beach cliffs are not well marked. 50% of the trail goes through woods, hence in shadow. The waterfall is nice to see. You could theoretically swim at it, but the water was dark and brownish, so we passed.
