After arriving in Hamburg, a little tour around the Outer Alster was a must!

The last leg of our tour to Hamburg took us on easy-to-drive roads and paths directly to the spectacular old Elbe tunnel. Afterwards, of course, there was a delicious fish sandwich. The great view of the harbor in fantastic weather rounded off the trip.
Afterwards, there was a tour around the Outer Alster.

6th day of the Hamburg tour.
In Lehrte, the day started cold again. But it stayed dry all day and the sun shone often.
We soon reached Celle with its picturesque old town and a castle in the Baroque and Renaissance style.
After several kilometers on mostly well-developed paths, we arrived in the Lüneburg

The 5th day of the tour to Hamburg started cold. Only 8 degrees at the start! And it wasn't really warm during the day either, but at least it stayed dry and there were several sunny moments.
We mostly followed the Leine-Heide cycle path, but for a while we preferred to take the very well-developed path

Hamburg tour day 4: Frau Holle-Land and Leine-Heide cycle path
The start had to be postponed today due to heavy rain. At 9.30 a.m. we were finally able to set off. In initially cloudy weather, we crossed a beautiful, very hilly region with great views and soon reached the Geo-Nature Park Frau-Holle-Land

Today was a great day of cycling on great paths along the Kinzig and Fulda. It stayed dry and was even sunny at times.
Only in Bad Hersfeld did we have to struggle through heavy traffic; there were cycle paths, but they were narrow and bumpy.
The destination today is Rotenburg an der Fulda. Now it's another 3 1/2 days to Hamburg.

Today was the second day of the tour to Hamburg. In the morning we cycled in the rain along the Main to Aschaffenburg. From then on it was dry, sometimes even sunny.
We cycled along beautiful field and cycle paths, slightly hilly, into the Kinzig Valley to our day's destination in the spa town of Bad Soden.

That was the first day of our big tour to Hamburg. We started in Winnenden in perfect cycling weather.
Through Heilbronn and a bit along the Neckar we went quickly into the Jagst Valley. The route through the Odenwald was almost flat at first, but then there were two climbs until we reached the highest
