A beautiful old town with an impressive church (St.Bonifatius) and great gardens, such as the Countess Friederike! And very friendly inhabitants!

Again a mini-city tour! Much preserved and maintained half-timbered, the oldest town hall in Germany and an almost intact weir system! 🏰👍

Minitour in Heiligenstadt in Eichsfeld! Going down the pedestrian street, you can see all the sights! The Brothers Grimm worked here and also Theodor Storm, to whom a museum is dedicated here! We also enjoyed Eichsfelder treats like Schmandkuchen and Mett! 🍰

It was a mini tour through a small medieval town, which is also called "Stone Chronicle of Thuringia". Both Thomas Münzer⚔️ (see also Peasant War Museum in place) and Bach🎼 (organist) have shaped the city. There is much more to discover! You can eat great in the "Brauhaus Zum Löwen"! 🏰

Tour with befriended couple and their son! Wuhlewanderweg, which you should not drive on the wrong side (trail), 🌿 then to "Union" ⚽überbei and over the Spree to Adlershof. Then the Mauerradweg to Lichtenrade. Back via Mahlow and Alt-Glienicke. Just before Biesdorf still in a quaint café! ☕Round thing! 🥇 My thumb was just off in the picture! 📷🤔

Unfortunately not driven because of the heat on the last WE! Were there by car! Had in the house of the Wannsee conference but a great guide! But also goes with a guide! So is recommended as a destination! Alone for the location on the Wannsee! 👍

The goal today was a performance in the "Theater am Rand" at Zollbrücke! We borrowed bicycles there in the Dammeisterei and drove a few kilometers up the Oder river. In the meantime, a Swiss has created an ambience with a horse farm, guest house and guest house from an old farm. The kitchen was certainly good and Schwyzerisch touched. Back blew a stiff breeze! Stop in the Dammeisterei! Good honest kitchen! Finally a play of a different kind in the "Theater am Rand"! Reduced, combined with nature and acting skills, we saw "Sihddartha" !. Played with a lot of heart! A great day!

It was a great hike in good weather! The ascent through the Eckerloch was a bit exhausting but manageable. Great views and forest air! But also many people on foot, by bike and the Brockenbahn! The chunk swarmed with people. Nevertheless, it has fallen to our little group. The descent to Schierke dragged on, the path consisted of slabs and gravel. Good to create. Afterwards in Schierke in "lumberjack" still a nice beer drunk, in addition a tasty wind bag. With super nice operation! A great day!
