Auf vielen Nebenstraßen durch das hügelige Holzland. Nur zwei sehr kurze Abschnitte auf stärker befahrenen Straßen, ansonsten ruhig, abwechslungsreich und auch mal mit schönen Ausblicken.

Gleich vorweg: eine sehr lohnenswerte Graveltour! Mit rd. 140 km und rd. 1200 hm nicht ganz einfach, aber halt etwas Zeit einplanen. Auch wegen der Foto-Stopps:-) Start in Lengries an der Talstation Brauneck. Zunächst dann meist auf Radwegen bis zum Sylvensteinspeicher. Ab dort immer wieder tolles Panorama. Berge, wilde Flusslandschaft, grüne Weiden … Nach rd. 70 km und rd. 900 hm ist man dann bei den Isarquellen angelangt. Tipp: Schloss mitnehmen, denn zu den Quellen kommt man nur zu Fuß. Ein kurzes Stück noch leicht bergauf und man ist bei der Kastenalm angelangt. Auch hier muss man das Rad vorher abstellen. Eine kleine Alm mit kleiner Speisenauswahl. Aber gut. Zeit mitbringen! Rückweg wie Hinweg, aber halt schneller :-).
