Starting and finishing in Stadhampton. You can park on the common, or Crown Pub if you plan to use it. Cycle to the Chiltern Hills via Chalgrove, Lewknor. Here there is a short rough section under the M40, you join the A40 riding up the almost unused A40 (it's 3 lanes) then along Christmas Common
