The section out of Reedly to over the motorway is very wet. Expect your feet to be wet after 1 mile. Until you get well clear of the M-Way the noise from it is loud.

The climb up Boar Clough is hard when its blowing a gale and lashing down. That also means there is no view at the top. But you don't need to come far down to clear the cloud and get a really impressive view back across towards Burnley and beyond. Worth the pain.
