Quarry Beck Bluebells and waterfall are always worth a springtime ride out. A tough ride in places but the return is easier than the outward section. As it should be. Quiet roads for the most part and excellent views of the pennines and glimpses of Blencathra and the Caldbeck fells. Lambs and calves

Great weather and a quiet scenic ride. Undulating terrain and a some testing hills. Very enjoyable.

A walk from the bridge at Armathwaite along the river and forest ride through Coombes Wood. Access to faces Bay is tricky and often off limits completely due to river levels. Requires a little bit of nerve but a great find. Access currently very good...2 or 3 days rain will change that and the bay may
