Wanted to vist Misu, the artisanal tiramisu maker in Stretford shopping precinct. Having eaten a sample, I felt the need to burn off a few more calories so continued down the Bridgewater canal before heading back towards Urmston and through Trafford Park.

The bit between Hawthord Rd and Jacksons Boat was not my normal route, and not particularly recommended, but was the result of (a) mistakenly getting onto the riverbank too soon (where the path is rough) rather than continuing through the woods, and then (b) a diversion back into the woods…

Round trip to Longford Park (for coffee), then a loop around Sale Water Park, returning via the Bridgewater Canal & Trafford Park
The trip went fine, but the Garmin didn't record the outward leg to Salford Quays, at which point I noticed and started it.

I seem to remember the Garmin played up after the Trafford Centre and was subsequently intent on sending me back there! It did record where I actually went including getting a bit lost around Urmston
