The penultimate Stage of the Grand Tour de Grüne Hauptwege was an enjoyable loop around central Berlin. I was struggling to get out on the bike because of blood glucose issues so this route was great for trying out new ways of controlling my blood glucose. Thankfully, I could enjoy a sunny day cycling

Stage 18 of the Grand Tour de Grüne Hauptwege was a lovely loop around central Berlin. I cycled through some of my favourite green areas, such as the Schlossgarten Charlottenburg, Rehberge and Tempelhofer Feld. A great reminder of the many green spaces in close proximity to more residential areas.

Stage 17 of the Grand Tour de Grüne Hauptwege was not only a lovely ride following the Teltowkanal (Teltow Canal) but a baptism of fire for my new diabetes management. The route took me through different industrial zones and street art in the middle of a forest.

The eleventh Grüner Hauptweg was a stunning ride where I visited most of the lakes making up the Grunewaldseenkette (Grunewald Lake Chain). These lakes are surrounded by villas, lush forests and are very popular with swimmers, hikers and cyclists. A truly magnificent ride!

The tenth Stage of the Grand Tour de Grüne Hauptwege was a short one connecting the Tempelhof district to the border between Berlin and Brandenburg at Buckow.
