Nagold, the 2nd! Start your day with a breakfast in the Délice on the market square. Then in the valley towards Pfrondorf. Shortly before it right up the hill and along the road to Oberjettingen. On the plateau between fields and smaller places altogether flat and then slightly downhill to Herrenberg. Very pleasant and comfortable route. In Herrenberg it gets more and more turbulent, as different residential areas, the station environment, main road and the city center have to be crossed. For a small snack, you can go to the "masonry", a 2-storey eatery with good salads. Bicycles can be parked behind the house, but unfortunately there is no bicycle stand or view of the wheels available. After strengthening uphill to the beginning of the Schönbuch area. From here it goes first flat and then longer time downhill through forests and glades. A short stop on the Sommertalweiher is worthwhile for anyone with a romantic vein. From the bench at the bottom of the pond you have a great view of the now quite autumnal scenery. Towards the end of the bike path through the Schönbuch turn right and then quite neat uphill to Heuberger Tor. Once at the top you will be rewarded with a beautiful view of Hageloch and the foothills of the Swabian Alb. At least in good weather :)

In 52 minutes by regional train from Tübingen to Nagold. Through the nice city center (and after a newly discovered breakfast in the Café Miller ... a tip!) On meandering forest trails up to the castle. Great view of the city and with a little luck to the Swabian Alb. Then jagged down the hill again and on the other side with moderate slope back up. About Mözingen and Bondorf to Oberndorf. The paths lead alternately through forests and between fields and are pleasant to drive. After Oberndorf slight slope and in the following forest on the fairytale lake over. If you have time, you should park your bike here and go for a walk in this beautiful valley. Then back in the saddle and on to Pfäffingen. From there on the half-height trails back to Tübingen. (Only) Today a few stops at the music of the "lively shopping" and finally on the Steinlach the tour ended with a beautiful finish and sun. What more do you want? Oh yes, the best route help on this tour: "Turn left and then turn back".

In order not always have to drive already known routes, arrival by HzL to Hechingen. From there in the direction of the Roman open-air museum near Stein, which is reached after about 15 minutes by bike from Hechinger station. The Villa Rustica is a visitable farm from the 1st century. A small snack is connected. Interesting for big and small. Then through the forest on to Rangendingen, past the sports field and in the following valley on paths and, in principle, easy trails along the banks of the Starzel. There are several possibilities here (see Komoot). We were a bit more on the slope on the left side of the stream on the way. Unfortunately supoptimal .. Here were quite rough stones as well as partly to be overcome stairs. Better the way seems to me - also used by hikers - in the immediate vicinity of the water. Both ultimately lead to Bietenhausen. From there via Hirrlingen and field and cycle paths to hamlet. From here down into the romantic Katzenbachtal and past the Römerquelle at the end of the valley. Here you can "refuel" water for free if necessary. Through Bad Niedernau and along the Neckartalradwegs comfortably continue to Bronnmühle directly on the bike path. Attention: This is only open from May to September!

Nothing world-moving. Beautiful descent from the castle through the forest, across on bike paths and roads to the Neckar valley and then very comfortable along the river back to Tübingen.

Friday! Sun! And time for a trip. Relaxed journey to Metzingen with the regional train to Urach 9.45 clock from Tübingen. Advantage: short of the regional express goes to Stuttgart. As a result, the masses are already gone and there is plenty of space for the wheels! Start at the station, then uphill between allotments to Kohlberg. Beautiful views along the route in the direction of Stuttgart. Arrived in nice Neuffen continue to the vineyards and along the winegrower paths to the edge of the forest below the castle. Now it goes in a big loop on dirt roads always uphill to the fortress. Fabulous view from the top in all directions. In the complex itself there is a snack bar, a restaurant and regular guided tours. If you travel cheaply, you can bring your own food. On the back side of the castle are various tables and benches for a leisurely snack break with a view.

Start at Reutlingen station in the direction of Achalm and right past it. Easy climb on bike path and arrived at the top relaxed by nature to the reservoir Glems. If you feel like it, you can pause for a coffee in the reservoir hotel (a bit above). Then continue uphill along the edge of the forest to the upper reservoir. Here comes just before the second goal a heavy slope on gravel, take good start! A lap around the basin and then to the stud farm St. Johann to stop. Strengthened continue cycling through the beautiful landscape to St. Johann. The routes here are beautiful and suitable for all types of bikes. From Holzelfingen it goes fast down to Lichtenstein and then continue on the half-height path to Pfullingen. There again up and through beautiful woodland to Breitenbachsee. Here are a few smaller trails, but good for MTBs to drive. With a little luck there is as little going on as it is today and beautiful pictures from all sides of the lake are possible. Finishing and Finish Café in Hofgut Kemmler. This highlight has its status in Komoot: Nice owners and very tasty things in the display :). Also breakfast brunch is possible here, but then you should book in advance. All in all: nice day, good tour, recommended.

On the well-known paths from Tübingen to Reutlingen to the hotel Achalm. Wanted this time to the very top of the ruin, which also went so far. Overall, but very steep. Way up gets worse and worse. Coarse debris and severe damage to the surface. You will be rewarded in each case by beautiful panoramic views in all directions. The former Höhenburg Achalm is surprisingly large, has various benches and tables for a break and who wants can - if open - still on the lookout tower. More at The bad way in the upper part is sometimes not dangerous. Without mountain bike with coarse tires there goes m.E. nothing.

Here in a nutshell :) Downhill from the highest point on gravel forest roads to the valley. This partly very nice views. Now and then a bit steeper. Then there is a short detour to Kirchzarten, before it goes back between the fields and later on the bike path back to Freiburg.
