This very beautiful hike led us around the Hintersteiner See. But the Jägersteig that leads from the Walleralm to the Steiner Hochalm is a bit of a challenge. Dog owners should urgently plan water for the dogs as there is no stream crossing here. Good footwear is essential.

Today was a wonderful tour in the best weather. The Komoot map is unfortunately not up-to-date here because the path from the lake to the Frankenalm has been relocated. I can only warmly recommend the tour not the other way around because then you can expect a long gravel descent.
