Wonderfully tasty on the Lengenberg, the ground is very saturated, a thin layer of leaves on soft ground, the tire spins uphill several times from time to time, in the end it became a big mess again 😎😎😎👍

After riding the Steinsbachtrail in slightly wet conditions last week, I felt like getting more mud and set off after work in snowy and rainy weather, and then I was pitch black again when I was on the trail. Since I only ride 2.1 inch tires, I thought it would be better to drive from Oberstein down the valley to the Wiesenmühle, which was definitely the right choice. Very difficult terrain, downhill you had to push hard to avoid getting stuck, not knowing if you could get through it. Exactly right 👍👍👍, There is no time for taking photos. I can only recommend it to improve your driving technique in this way. I'm considering putting on 2.6-inch off-road tires for trips like this. 😊😊

Only warmed up on the way to Rusteberg, then we went 4 min downhill through Marth to the B80 to Steinsbachtrail, from there up to Hennefeste. I like the Steinsbachtrail, especially as a mud trail, apparently others too, saw a lot of bike tracks. Due to its loose nature, it is very soggy and greasy when wet, sinking 10-15 cm in the mud is not uncommon, challenging to fight your way through with the Biobike. The only thing that helps is letting air out of the tires, taking a small step and rummaging through. Simply wonderful 😉😎😉😎😉😎👍👍, once you've reached Oberstein, your endorphins will be great!! The whole thing, even in complete darkness, so deep in the narrow valley, in the evenings a little scary, increases concentration! Wild boars also love the trail and leave their tracks behind.
It takes a miserable long time up the mountain to the Hennefeste, but it is not difficult terrain, tip top gravelled forest road.

Sharp north-westerly wind at -1 degrees, is already an announcement as not to cool down, and it feels like driving uphill. But along the Baltic Sea it has a special charm

With the last tour this year, I want to wish everyone a good 2022 😉😉!
This tour has once again shown the qualities of our surrounding area, great ups and downs, the trail to the Dieteröder heights up and down to Mackenrode is definitely to be recommended. Above all, the impassable drive on the firewood is mega, mud, deep puddles, high furrows, so tough mud that you have to trample downhill in order not to get stuck, what a torture, but maximally happy🙂😊😊😊😎😎😎🙂 👌👌 (A great workout for blocked terrain)

Take a contemplative tour, wander around the area, take a lot of photos, the journey is the goal.
The Höhberg is very well suited for gravel tours, as is the Röhringsberg, the paths are wide and flat, we will be here next spring.
The trail from the Teufelskanzel down to Lindewerra is awesome, very, very cool. For the area typical outstanding sandstones from the ground, beautiful tire and rim killers. A great thrill 🙂🙂😉👌👌

With massive fog visibility 5m, started, came out of the fog above Röhrig and a great starry sky with the blood moon shimmered through the treetops. I thought, off to the Ibergkreuz, you should see everything there. It far exceeded my expectations. The sight of the moon in the sky and fog in the valley was like fake, fascinating. The photo can only show part of the impressions. The timing was perfect, albeit a coincidence. Great little round with a slightly different winter impression.
