Gravel was ok except for some low washout/soft sand points. Best to go at 6pm or early morning to beat the heat. But I got out and hope to build on the momentum.

Is it spring? Maybe? First ride of the New Year. Nevada weather is simply weird, but got a ride in before rain shows up for the next two days.

Started at Bowers Mansion off Highway 395 and took the old Franktown Rd. Very scenic and not congested… except for the loose bull that came out of the brushes.

North Dayton
Most areas here are soft sand and rutted out by SxS. This area though is hard pack dirt road, single tracks and can zig zag amongst the wild horses and mountain backgrounds.
