Well rested, with fresh legs, we continued uphill in the Ötztal via Obergurgl, Hochgurgl and finally the famous Timmelsjoch. At the top we fortified ourselves with a delicious soup before a long downhill drive to South Tyrol lay ahead of us. In significantly better weather, we drove a large part of the Vinschgau.
