AT to Locust Knob
The first mile has great views. After that, it's a forest hike with gentle elevation gain and loss. Most people turn around at the Double Springs Shelter, and that's the thing to do. We went to Locust Knob, and there is nothing there. The only reason to go there is for the extra mile round trip.
