Decent weather and excellent breakfast at The Horkey Kitchen, then 20 miles to the Crown at Rudham. A pint on Harry and the added bonus of a rare tailwind home. What's not to like? 👌

I began to wonder where the forecast rain was. I soon found out when, about ten miles from home, I encountered one thunderstorm after another. Still, at least the cafe and the pint of Duration made it worth the effort.

Excellent ride and turnout to Algy's Farmshop and Cafe. Lovely food, but like everywhere, prices are rocketing up. Jerry landed an expensive round at the pub stop😯; fortunately, it only comes around once a month.

First ever ride to Halt Cafe at Heacham South Beach, food was plentiful and reasonably priced. Then onto the Rudham Crown, had my first ever pint of Clarksons Hawkstone lager, bloody lovely, cheers Harry.

First ride to Natural Surroundings in many a year, nothing changed, service still slow but worth the wait. Pints on Jerry at Sculthorpe Mill on return, perfect temperature for a long ride out.

Seven of us went to Billingford Lakes, a great little cafe with good service in a tranquil spot. Then it was onto the Dabbling Duck for a cooling pint of Duration. By the time we left the pub, it was getting pretty roasting.🥵
