I did this hike to Tolox and back from Roger's Finca while WWOOFING and enjoyed it a lot. Quite at the beginning there is an electric fence. You will need to crawl underneath it through to the other side. This might not be for everyone. The steep way down into Tolox felt quite long. The rest is really scenic and enjoyable. You might want to do just part of the hike from Tolox.
