Le Bleymard to Pont-de-Montvert - RLS GR70 segment 6
Long but moderate ascent up Mt Lozère from ski resort. Ascent along huge alpine meadow filled w out-of-bloom heath. Alpine meadow pitch and size reminiscent of Katahdin Table Land Fantastic lunch from summit at 5600ft elevation. Brutal descent often on very narrow 1 person wide trail strewn with loose cobbles softball to bowling ball in size, all while attempting to manage 3 donkeys. Exhausting - a 3 dose vitamin I day!
